The Multimode Sample Introduction System (MSIS) combines the benefits of conventional nebulization and vapor generation. The MSIS allows for separate or simultaneous use of both methods of sample introduction, eliminating the need to alter the analytical set up. Vapor generation greatly increases signal response over standard nebulization for hydride forming elements. Dual mode allows for simultaneous use of nebulization and vapor generation giving a 5 - 30 fold improvement in detection limits compared to standard nebulization for a variety of elements.
